I have some neighboors which park their RV home in front of my house take up to 3 parking space. The RV is an oversize vehicle which blocks the street where parking is already limited. Is this legal and if no where can I report this to?
My husband and I recently got an RV and have been taking our 2 small boys camping for about the past year. What are the best campgrounds that are the most kid friendly. We have 1 year old and 3 year old boys.
Me and a bunch of friends are planning to roadtrip through california this december/january. We're looking at renting an RV and just going wherever we feel like going. However, finding RV camping grounds is a real pain, plus the fact that they are usually far away from the touristic attractions we want to see in the big cities. Therefore i was wondering if it is possible to just find a quiet road or street somewhere, where the presence of a 25' parked truck is no problem for anyone living in that area, and just staying there. Any experienced RV enthousiasts who can help me out with this? Thanks!
We want to rv camp on this side of the rockies in Colorado and then take the motorcycles to the tourist sites. Dont want to take the RV up the mountains. Maybe around Pueblo or Colorado Springs or what-ever? Any ideas? Would like to stay south as the RV is 7Mpg
I am planning a road trip down the Californian coast on my way to Grand Canyon. My family and I are into fishing and we would like find some places where we can park our RV, set camp, and do some fishing by the beach (More like pier fishing). We are planning our trip this December. Thanks.
I am in the military and have been stationed in Idaho and Montana. My family and I got spoiled by RV camping in some of the most beautiful scenery down some dirt road and next to a river or lake. The best part of it was that we did not have to pay anything for this type of camping. Now that I am retiring and moving to upstate New York, I would like to enjoy that area in the same manor too. Are there any maps of place up there like this?
I am planning a camping trip with my three sons ages 5, 7 and 9 years old. After a little internet research, I have decided to choose Highlands Hammock State Park in Sebring Florida. We are tenting it in a large three bedroom condo tent and Ive read that the sites are pretty cramped. Was hoping that someone that has been here may have mapped out the best sites. We have been to Myakka and that was one of the first things I did once we arrived so that the next time we came back I would know which to reserve. Hoping someone is a planner like I am. I was only able to find a couple reviews that listed good sites for pull-thru RVs which may not be the best for us. Sites at Myakka that seemed to be nice were the ends of the inner circles and some sites that just seemed to be situated such that they were a bit bigger than the others. Definitely dont want to be on top of where the bathrooms or dumpsters are. Well, you get what I mean. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I'm planning on randomly traveling to where ever my vehicle lands me (for only about a month or so) maybe take a road trip east to west and am trying to figure out what I need. So far I got the basic essentials like a toothbrush and a few pairs of clothes. I'm going to be living out of my car and/or a tent if I find a campground (hotel at last resort). But so far I got my car all hooked up, I removed the back seats (its a hatch) and theres enough room to comfortabl lay down in a sleeping bag, I also rigged up a 12v mini fridge to a solar panel thats also wired into the battery so it will always run and not kill my batt. (to store milk and such) and have some nonperishable canned goods and bread. I figured I'd stop at truck stops to use the showers and bathrooms. I have an emergency cell phone, computer for entertainment and information (got some surviival guides on there along with laws of every state and other misc useful info) along with some of that stuff printed out for reference. Other then that I'm good to go, just trying to figure out what else I might need that could be essential thats not comming to mind. Ultimately living out of my car could be dangerous so I'm also prepaird and bringing one of my firearms which is close to being legal in almost every state (after reading over all the laws) so that should help. I also got my Kayak strapped to the top, along with a 1 gallon gas gan, and some tools incase anything simple breaks, and a gallon of water. I'm seeking some general insite, tips, maybe some stories if anyone else has done something like this (in the same sense I'm going for, a simple drie across a few states, or RV'ing), and a simple list of things I might need other then what I got listed above. The vehicle I'm drving is rather small which is why I got the tent for backup, so as little as possible is good. Vehicle: 94 Ford Aspire (While not being the most reliable, and parts are scarce, I have replaced everything in it so hopefully it should last me for the time I'm going to be using it) It gets almost 50 MPG
I'm going to be tailgating for the Penn State-Michigan game, which is on a Saturday night. I plan to get there on Thursday night and park in the RV lot. Will I be allowed to leave the RV parked there into Sunday morning? Thanks.
We are planning on going to Las Vegas for our vacation with a few friends and we are taking a camper and truck. I am having a hard time finding a rv park that we can hook up the camper and still be within walking distance of the strip. Anyone know of a place? Or the closest?
Have property in a great location for a RV park. Have private air strip on land. Don't have much starup money. Options?

We just got a new motorhome and I'd like to know about some of the better RV campgrounds in southern Nevada or northern Arizona. I'm especially interested in places that have full hookups, great scenary, maybe some good hiking trails, lots of activities and clean facilities.
Preferably ones that have surrounding tourist traps and things to do. Oh, and are affordable.
Today at 10AM I'm going on a 5 hour trip in Canada. My Dad wants me to sit in the passenger seat and I do not want to.. How do I tell my Dad that I don't want to sit in the front of the RV when I could be in the back listening to music? I know, this is quite a pathetic question but yeah.. Oh and how safe are RV's on the highway when sitting at the table that has waist buckles? Dosent seem safe to me..
Me and my family are traveling from Red Deer to San Fransisco and we are trying to find an RV rental place that has good quality and prices. Anywhere in southern Alberta is the best, for convenience. If you could just post a web link or phone number that would be great. If you have used that rental business before, make sure to say how the experience was.
My friends and I (there are eight of us) are planning a "high school graduation" road trip. We thought it would be more cost efficient to get an RV and go through the United States together. The trip so far is planned to be 6 weeks long. Do any of you know any good RV rental companies? Like ones you have used before and they have good clean RVs with reasonable rates since we're paying for this trip ourselves. -Thanks so much!
Or a directory that list all the RV membership campgrounds in Alberta. I have look into Wilderness Village in Alberta but find their fees too expensive. Your help is most appreciated.
We are travelling through the Rockies from Calgary to Vancouver in a large RV. We will no doubt visit the likes of Banff and Jasper etc but we have had conflicting recomendations on whether we need to book the RV sites in advance. We are travelling throughout Aug so it'll probably be busy. So.. to book or not to book - that is the question?
Travel plans got changed and need to go to the Elk, usually go to the Buffalo in Arkansas. Don't want to be around a bunch of drunks all night. Thanks
Hi my partner chris and I are hiring an RV to travel across USA from west coast (San Francisco) to east cost (New York) next summer. I was really looking for any advice, hints, tips etc! I have lots of questions to ask answers appreciated! My major one is RV campsites? (found reserveamerica.com) any advice on good ones bad ones?
...any that have a website or online booking? Google just gives me a list of RV parks in which you can review, but no websites. many thanks
Has anyone gone camping at Brazos Bend outside of Houston and could you give me a review? My friends and I want to go this summer. Would the end of June be unbearable? Also, I know they have screened shelters but can you sleep in them? We do not have an RV. Thanks
